I will start this by stating we have owned this vacuum less than a week.

Now, on to the good, the bad, and the indifferent

Good:
its powerful for its size.
easy to empty bin
well constructed
easy to use and understand
well built attachments
good charging system
battery looks like it can charge without being in the vacuum
great on our hardwood floors
does good on carpet too
its smaller than expected, very portable
easy to clean spider webs and crap from ceiling

bad:
the actual brush/ head is a little small. I would have liked for it to be a little wider. its about 8 inches.
the exhaust comes from the sides (behind the handle) of the vacuum. You have to watch when cleaning stairs or you might just blow loose stuff around
the max line is made for when the vacuum is level. When vacuuming, you may have to stop, lift it up and check how full it is.

The indifferent:
you have to hold the button. I was slightly worried about this before I purchased. After using it I personally like it, but its not for everyone. I like the fact it saves battery from stair to stair or couch to couch. Thats just me though.
There could be more attachments, I'm paying $300 for a vacuum. I should be able to vacuum floors, couches, dust, dogs, cars, etc. out of the box. No reason to make me buy kits with some of these items in there.
It doesn't support itself. Yea, it's a few pounds, I know. However, sometimes I want to make the vacuum stand while I'm picking up a dog toy or something.

I'll update as we own it longer. I purchased it because the wife breaks a vac about every three months. We'll see how this one holds up. So far, the quality and construction seems promising enough to last for a while.

So far, I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this Dyson cordless vac about a month ago in Sears for $220. Overall it works well but the charged battery life needs to be improved for any reasonable cleaning. This is a perfect vac for dry spills in the kitchen (where we keep ours) or for touch-ups on the family room carpet which is adjacent to the kitchen. Also good on wood floors, again, for touch-up work. We have an upright Garry vac that we use for primary cleaning and an older Oreck we keep upstairs for the bedrooms.

This the 5th one of these I have purchased for myself and for my sons (in New York) & daughter. I have found it to be an excellent product, very convenient and easy to use. The cleaning power is as good, if not better, than any plug-in hoover.
