I already had this exact same warmer which I originally bought a few years back at Bed, Bath & Beyond. This largest version, the TWT-40, 1000 watt, is awesome. I have used it at Thanksgiving, and for extra-large lasagna pans catered in, hot dips at parties, etc. You can leave it plugged in and the food will actually sizzle. If you heat it up 10-15 minutes and use it cordless style, it will keep your food HOT for an hour plus. They are very well constructed, compact & nice looking. I ordered 2 more on amazon, and they are perfect. I have borrowed my sister-in-laws expensive chafing warmers--heavy duty stainless steel. They are beautiful and work great, BUT if you have to use several of them, they require cleaning, and they are heavy and tricky to manipulate in the sink. No fun when you're tired at the end of a long night of entertaining. No need for that with these cordless warming trays; all you do is wipe them down. That's what convinced me to buy these instead. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend!

The TWT-40 warming tray works as advertised and was used at many gatherings at our house. That is, until we lost the cord. There is no on/off switch, so you must unplug the unit to turn it off. The plug was lost and Toastess International would not respond to several attempts to contact them. They have absolutely no useful customer service. My advice is if you buy one and have problems; just throw it out.
